Welcome to Song Keepers. By accessing this website or registering for events, retreats, or offerings, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or participate in our offerings.

 

2. Nature of Our Offerings

Song Keepers provides community-based gatherings centered around devotional music, sacred song, cultural traditions, contemplative practice, and threshold accompaniment.

Our offerings may include:

• Public music gatherings
• Workshops and retreats (including international retreats)
• Cacao or ceremonial-style events
• Volunteer outreach initiatives
• Accompaniment for individuals who are sick or at life thresholds, and support for their families
• Recorded media and educational content

Participation in all offerings is voluntary.

Accompaniment services offered through Song Keepers are spiritual and community-based in nature and do not constitute medical, nursing, hospice, psychological, or therapeutic care.

 

3. Health & Medical Disclaimer

Song Keepers does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic services.

Nothing on this website or in our gatherings constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Participants are responsible for their own physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. If you have medical conditions, please consult a licensed healthcare professional before participating in events involving movement, breathwork, ceremonial practices, travel, or other physical or emotional engagement.

 

4. Assumption of Risk

Participation in in-person gatherings, workshops, retreats, and travel-based experiences involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical activity
• Emotional experiences
• Environmental exposure
• Travel-related risks
• Interaction with other participants

By registering for or attending any offering, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that Song Keepers and its facilitators are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages except in cases of gross negligence.

 

5. Retreats & International Travel

Participants in retreats (including international retreats) are responsible for:

• Travel arrangements
• Required documentation (passport, visas)
• Travel insurance
• Personal health insurance
• Vaccination requirements (if applicable)

Song Keepers is not responsible for delays, travel disruptions, government restrictions, or force majeure events.

Refund Policy for Retreats

Retreat deposits are refundable up to fourteen (30) days prior to the retreat start date.

Within fourteen (30) days of the retreat start date, deposits and payments are non-refundable unless the participant’s space can be filled.

Specific refund policies may vary by retreat and will be clearly stated at the time of registration.

 

6. Payments, Refunds & Event Cancellations

Event-specific refund policies will be clearly stated at the time of registration.

Song Keepers reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances.

If Song Keepers cancels an event, participants will receive a refund of fees paid unless otherwise stated.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, recordings, graphics, logos, branding, and original media — is the property of Song Keepers unless otherwise credited.

Participants are welcome to share personal photos and short recordings from gatherings for non-commercial use (e.g., social media), provided that Song Keepers and/or relevant artists are properly credited where appropriate.

Official recordings, media content, and branding materials may not be reproduced, sold, or distributed for commercial purposes without written permission.

 

8. Community Code of Conduct

Song Keepers is committed to:

• Participation over performance
• Reverence without hierarchy
• Cultural humility and listening

Participants agree to engage respectfully with facilitators, traditions, and fellow community members.

Harassment, discrimination, or harmful behavior may result in removal from an event without refund.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Song Keepers and its facilitators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in any offering or use of this website.

 

10. Changes to These Terms

Song Keepers reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
